Scribe Productions is a top-notch, Ghanaian Production house with a laser focus on providing holistic entertainment spanning from theater to screen for all ages. It was founded in 2015 by Ghanaian writer/director, Kobina Ansah, just before he quit his teaching job at St. Rose's Senior High School in Akwatia in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The production house staged its first play, This Family Is Not For Sale Season 1, on February 14 and 15, 2015 at the Efua T. Sutherland Drama Studio on University of Ghana campus. Kobina Ansah subsequently quit his job later in August that year and focused fully on Scribe.
